NCMC Account - Username

NCMC usernames are issued as part of the onboarding process when you are enrolled as a student or hired as an employee. You will initially receive your username and temporary password in an email sent to your email address you used when applying to the college. Usernames are also paired with @student.ncmich.edu or @ncmich.edu to create your full email address and NCMC portal username.
Please note, the below defaults vary depending on different circumstances and are just a general guideline. If you don't think the format is correct for your username, you can reach out to Student Services or submit an IT Help Desk ticket to verify your username.
For students:
- The default format is {lastname}{firstinitial} and possibly a single- or double-digit number.
- Username will end with @student.ncmich.edu for full email and NCMC portal username.
For employees:
- The default format is {firstinitial}{lastname} and possibly a single- or double-digit number.
- Username will end with @ncmich.edu for full email and NCMC portal username.
