Microsoft Teams needs your location in order to satisfy the legal requirements for providing the local 911 dispatch center with your location. This location must be a complete address and contain additional information, like building, floor, and/or room number. Enabling location services on your device will help to ensure we meet this requirement and make it quicker for you to confirm your address in Teams.

When you edit your location in Teams, it will usually remember this information for the future, but you should always verify the location when using the Microsoft Teams Calling feature.
