Teams Phone - Temporarily Remove Self From Calling Queue

Microsoft Teams Calling allows users to temporarily remove themselves from assigned call queues or call trees. Once removed, users can re-add themselves back into the queue when ready. Changes to the call queue may take a couple minutes to process, but should be relatively quick. Follow the steps outlined to change your status in the call queue.
  1. Open Microsoft Teams
  2. Go to settings within Teams
    • Desktop: Click on three dots next to profile picture in top right > settings
    • Mobile: Click on profile picture in top left > settings
    • Desk Phone: Click on profile picture at top > settings
  3. Find the "Calls" tab or section
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the "Calls" section and find the queue you want to change your state in
  5. Toggle on/off the "Call receiving" option for the queue
