If emails are not showing up in the native Apple iPhone email app, or you are getting an error message about two-factor authentication, the account needs to be reset on the iPhone. The following steps explain the process:
  1. On iOS device, tap to open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Passwords & Accounts for iOS 13.x or lower OR tap Mail then Accounts for iOS 14.x or higher.
  3. Tap on the NCMC email account, commonly named Exchange.
  4. At the bottom, tap on Delete Account.
  5. A prompt will appear to confirm the deletion. Although the data is being removed from the phone, Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, and Notes are saved to the Office 365 account and will synchronize back to the phone when re-adding the account.
  6. Wait for the deletion to complete. When returned to the list of accounts, the Exchange account has been successfully removed from the iOS device.
  7. Navigate to Settings and tap Accounts & Passwords.
  8. Tap Add Account.
  9. Select Exchange as the account type.
  10. Enter full NCMC email address and a description, such as NCMC Email, then tap Next. A prompt will appear to sign into the NCMC Exchange account using Microsoft. Tap Sign In.
  11. After signing-in, click Save.
